about me

A friend of mine suggested that I come to yoga with her several years ago when I was in a season of intense loss and chronic pain. I immediately connected with it and saw the benefits from it in my physical, emotional and mental state. My yoga journey has clarified some of my long held beliefs, giving fresh life and practical daily practices to my faith. I knew early on that this was something I wanted to share with others, and I also knew that becoming a teacher would deepen and expand my personal practice.

what to expect

Yoga is an intentional movement with our bodies that translates to the rest of our lives. Yoga is being present in the moment, aware and appreciative of our body. Yoga is the ability to breathe and therefore control how we interact with the world.
My teaching style is encouraging, connective and lighthearted. And I incorporate a mixtape of musical selections — ranging from 80s/90s and pop, to country and classical.
