My yoga journey began with a set of VHS tapes (yes, VHS) years ago, as I tried to relieve muscle stiffness after working at a desk all day. Yoga helps me reconnect with my authentic self and hear my true voice. It's about self-care and taking time to breathe. I taught fitness and yoga classes in Little Rock, but it wasn't until I moved to Northwest Arkansas 10 years ago that I fell in love with hot yoga flows. I've since earned my RYT200 and taught for a number of studios in the Bentonville/Rogers area.
what to expect
My teaching style is introspective. I like to provide a mantra or thought to ponder at the beginning of class, and I enjoy helping others discover their inner and physical strength as they flow. And my music selections are normally a mix of mellow acoustic and fun.
When I’m not in the studio, you can normally find me taking my golden retrievers for long walks, hikes and adventures. I love biking the trails, playing tennis and diving into books, books, books. Did I mention I’m obsessed with books?
